The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to prepare a delicious meal, or you can grill up the day's fresh catch on the community charcoal grills (there are plenty of local seafood markets for those who prefer buying their gulf fare instead of catching it! ;) This well-equipped unit also features a washer/dryer, tile throughout, DVD player, premium TV channels, WIFI and a dedicated covered parking spot (a rare amenity in Perdido Key!)

While Windemere offers plenty of recreation and relaxation, there are tons of adventures to be had outside of the resort! Perdido Key is ranked #2 by Rand McNally in the top 7 sunsets and sunrises in America. The water is a mesmerizing emerald-turquoise and generally complimented by a bright blue sky thanks to an average of 340 sunny days a year. What's more, 60 percent of 'The Key' as the locals call it, is state or federal park land, so all this sand, Sea, and sky are undeveloped and therefore mostly pristine and pure! There are fantastic restaurants, championship golf courses, water sports, and lovely shops nearby. The Pensacola Naval Air Station/Museum is a short 15 minute drive from Perdido Key and is a great place to take the family, with most activities free to the public. A 10 minute drive west will take you to Orange Beach, which hosts tons of restaurants and shopping.
