Couldn’t be more pleased with this condo, the decor was beautiful. We were due to check in at 4p, but received a text that our condo was ready at 3p, so we could start our vacation early. We received all of the gate and door codes in an email, but the elevator code was not in the same paragraph as the other codes. I would like to suggest that all codes should be located together. Less confusion.

We enjoyed staying at this condo. The beds were comfortable, and it was well-stocked with starter materials. The kitchen had every utensil I needed to cook a few meals, and the TV had all the apps one would want to entertain the family during the rainy days. The balcony had a lovely view of the ocean, and the outdoor pool in the West building was always clean and accommodating. The location is walkable to some restaurants and shops and only a short drive over the bridge to Publix, Winn-Dixie, and pharmacies. The only constructive feedback would be that the keys to the front door were extremely difficult to turn, and once turned the door was hard to open. We could tell this has been an issue for a while because the frame where the doorknob connects with the frame was very unstable from where you had to really work to get the door open. We honestly just left it unlocked because of this issue because we were afraid of not being able to get back in.

We had a wonderful vacation here. Unit was spacious and clean. View from balcony was fabulous. Easy access to elevator, pool, and beach. Nice big fitness center and pool was good size, clean, and quiet. Beds were comfortable! Easy to operate tvs also. Publix grocery store was 5 minutes away. Pay attention to # of amenities included in case your family needs more for your stay. We brought an extra roll of toilet paper and laundry soap.

The condo was great. We had an issue with the garbage disposal and the property manager was great to work with and sent someone right out. The only issue was the elevators. Our first day only one elevator was working and the rest of the trip the elevators were tricky in accepting the four digit code required to get to your room. Otherwise, a great condo!

We enjoyed our state at Beach Colony 5C. The property was clean and well maintained. Check in instructions were well written and easy to follow. The pools were nice and the beach was fanastic, although Harvey took over the beach for a couple days. Even then we enjoyed watching the storms. We didn't have enough time to see everything we wanted so we plan on coming back.

We absolutely loved this condo! It was a great location in the building. Very well kept. We had breakfast and dinner at the table on the balcony and I enjoyed reading in the lounge chairs on the balcony while our baby napped. Love the huge closet in the master bedroom, but my favorite was the super comfy master bed. The second bedroom does get a lot of light coming through the window at night so that might be our only complaint. Otherwise everything was great and we definitely plan on staying here again! :)

We joined our family at the beach for Thanksgiving this year. They own a condo in this same complex, so location was our first priority in booking this unit. The complex itself is a bit dated but, by all appearances, well-run and well-maintained. The beach is white sand and was very clean. The two outdoor pools, though too cold to swim in, were clean. We did swim in the indoor pool and use the hot tub, both of which were fine. The condo unit was great. The balcony looks right onto the beach. The air conditioner kept the unit very comfortable (the weather was a bit warm for Thanksgiving). It is nicely decorated. The beds and linens were clean and comfortable and plenty of towels were provided. The unit had a lot of nice amenities, including extra sheets, pillows and blankets and plenty of pots, pans, dishes and glasses. Though a small starter set of shampoo and soap was provided, bring your own, there is not enough for all of your party for your entire stay. I would also bring a small bottle/box of laundry detergent (there is a washer/dryer in the unit). The humidity is high and towels do not dry quickly. You will use a lot of them, particularity if you take them to the beach or pool. There is a Publix grocery store on the mainland side of the bridge. Stop there to stock up before coming onto the island (though it is a quick trip back if you forget something). The unit has a Keurig coffee maker. Bring pods if you are a coffee-drinker. We enjoyed our stay there and will rent this unit again when we go back. One note though: prior to arriving, you will get a letter from the property management company giving you access/use/departure instructions. The is seemingly a unique code for every door, elevator floor and gate in this place, all of which are in the letter. Text them to everyone in your party. It is difficult to get around the complex if you don't have them with you or have them memorized.

We did not want to leave! We've stayed at the beach in Fort Walton and Pensacola a few times. We always rent a condo on the beach. This beach and this beautiful condo was our favorite stay yet! At first glance we thought Beach Colony looked a bit dated. But, once we got into our room and saw the balcony with the view, we were hooked! I would recommend this place highly. It is clean, beautiful, it wasn't crowded, so the wait for an elevator was nothing (trouble here in the past). We plan to come back next year, too!

We loved our stay at Beach Colony! This condo was super clean, and provided everything we needed. Great kitchen appliances, great washer/dryer, private balcony, amazing views, etc. It's a great place to stay with young kids as well. Luxury Coastal Vacations made sure to have everything provided for, and gave contact info 24/7 if needed. We never needed it. A few highlights for us: clean white sandy beach, heated indoor pool with hot tub, Blue Angels airshow in Pensacola 10 minutes east of Perdido Key, Lillan's Restaurant (great pizza), and Jellyfish Restaurant (great sushi). Grocery store less than 5 minutes away. We loved every minute. Thank you owners for sharing your home with us. We would definitely come back!

This was our second stay at The Beach Colony through Luxury Coastal Vacations. Everything was perfect from the time we made the reservations to leaving (so sad to leave, but have started planning the next trip!). We loved this condo, it was beautifully decorated, top of the line appliances, (not that we cooked), the bed was very comfortable and had everything you need for a wonderful trip. The little extra's provided by Luxury Coastal Vacations were just an added bonus. I personally love the master bath, taking a Jacuzzi while overlooking the beach cannot be beat anywhere. The balcony was very private with a great view. The Beach Colony is a beautiful upscale resort. The recommendations for dinner we really appreciated, we loved the Fisherman's Corner restaurant ( I had the red snapper nightly special, husband had the Rib-eye .....both delish) and the Sunday brunch with mimosa's. Also we had the best ever fried shrimp at the Perdido Key Oyster Bar! Don't forget to go to Pensacola, we had the Hurricane Shrimp Taco at Z Taco Fresh Mex food truck at Al Fresco - “Airstream “Food Trucks” before going to Joe Patti's. If you love fresh fish and shrimp to take home, this is a great place. Just writing about it, makes me wish I was there!!

Everything was perfect. The condo was very clean, upscale and well decorated. The property including beaches, pools and workout facility are kept in immaculate conditions. Nitpicking here, but all of the security codes to remember are a bit annoying. (Especially the elevator) This is a perfect location for a quiet, relaxing family getaway. This isn't for the loud, partying crowd. We definitely recommend and can't wait to come back some day.

The Beach Colony has the best of all worlds, on the beach, close to the state park so you can get away from the crowds for part of the day, close to Pensacola for a side trip to the Naval Air Museum, and close to the Publix and Winn-Dixie so we could shop a bit away from the more crowded stores. The room was clean and well equipped. Terrific!

We just spent a fantastic Thanksgiving weekend at the condo! The description of the condo is spot on. We enjoyed the great space in the kitchen as we prepared the traditional Thanksgiving dinner. With plenty of counter space, we did not feel too crowded even with multiple cooks in the kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, pots and pans, etc. The condo feels more spacious than is conveyed in the photos! You can not beat the size of the deck. We spent hours out there on the fantastic chairs, listening to the ocean, watching the dolphins swim by, and visiting with family. We have stayed at numerous condos along Perdido Key over the years and this feature has beaten all the others, hands down. The condo feels very close to the ocean. The fitness center is a great one! We spent some time there as well burning off the calories. Great to have a full set of dumbbells and cardio equipment. We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub as is was a little cool outside during some of our stay. The condo was clean, the property was well maintained, a strong effort is made to make sure only guests are taking advantage of the amenities in the complex. All in all our experience was better than what was described in the listing. We were glad that this was the condo we chose!

Everything about this unit and Beach Colony was perfect during our August stay. The property management company was very easy to work with accommodating our last minute reservation. All of the furnishings and decor in the condo were in great shape, and the beds were very comfortable. Our daughter loved the pocket door separating the second bedroom and bathroom from the main living area, it definitely allowed great privacy for guests in that part of the condo. The kitchen was not extensive, but did have all of the basic utensils that we needed during our stay. The chaises on the balcony were incredibly comfortable, I could have spent all week out there. The beach chair rental worked smoothly and it was so nice not to have to carry beach chairs down daily. This was our second stay at Beach Colony and we love the complex; we liked staying in the central tower, but have stayed in the east tower previously. The grounds were immaculately maintained, the pools were very clean. I do wish there were nicer grills on the property, but that's such a minor complaint in the whole scheme of things. Overall a great stay, would definitely return to this condo again.
