We had a great time, the condo was exactly as described except for the ice machine not working, We were a little disappointed with that. Everything else was wonderful and easy!

Charming Colonnades Condo with Beautiful Views More

We had the best week in Gulf Shores. We have stayed in several units at the Colonnades for years now, but this unit was definitely our favorite. Beautiful decor, comfortable and cozy beds, fully-loaded kitchen, ample space for family games and together time. The views were serene from the patio. Watching the fireworks from there was definitely a highlight.

By Far The Best Location

Having stayed at various condo units in the Gulf Shores five times, this was by far my favorite LOCATION far away from the main areas that are not crowded but close enough to walk to. The pier is also nearby that my son was able to walk to it for fishing. With only three units per floor, the beach was not crowded. SECURITY onsite. I noticed they do walk through the public areas regularly. It took us a few tries to figure out how to key in the elevator code for the gym. Stairwell is beautiful. Seldom did we have to wait long for an elevator. CONDO UNIT was furnished comfortably and the decor was well thought out. It exuded more of a sense of "relaxation" and less sense of a "rental". The chairs on the balcony were perfect for morning coffee! Kitchen was well stocked. Ice machine was noisy but there was plenty of ice. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The mattresses were foam, which I discovered can get very warm at night. Wire shelving in the closets eliminates a need to leave clothing in the suitcase or having to use the dressers. The master bath layout is great! AC unit is set to turn off if doors are left opened too long, a nice plus. With teenage sons and daughters, there was plenty of room to have private spaces & separate TVs. On a rainy day, we found games in a cabinet! Most importantly, it was very CLEAN!

Very comfortable and nice home

Honestly, the pictures of this home are great and all, but this home in person is amazing. GREAT job on keeping this home really nice, neat, and comfortable. We have stayed in some really pretty homes, but this one tops them all. The communication between the manager of this property is really nice. If we ever needed anything they were always there to help us in anyway.

Wonderful Views!

Unit 1402 is extremely clean. It has a wonderful balcony overlooking the gulf! Plenty of kitchen appliances for cooking! This is a very nice place!
