Cotton Bayou Fish Camp

This is one of the best places to stay. Being on the boat dock and watching the wildlife was so wonderful and just a beautiful scenery.

We had a wonderful stay! The house just as pictured, the beds and sheets are comfy, there’s blankets for relaxing on the couch, the kitchen has everything you need, and the dock is AMAZING. Seriously we probably spent 75% out there fishing and watching the ospreys and blue heron. Everything we could have wanted for our last hurrah before school starts next week.

Great house with an awesome dock on the water. We fished off the dock and caught a lot of fish! The pool and patio were perfect for hanging out and grilling. Plenty of space for 9 adults

Everything we wanted out of our vacation. Relaxing, close to our usual restaurants and beaches. We come down every 3 years as an extended family, our family has grown and this was our first time not staying in our usual condo high rise. Animal activity cannot be outmatched at this location, dolphins, hermit crabs, crabs, osprey, pelicans, herons and of course fish. The kids spent a lot of time on the small beach playing with the locals. Our “Henry Heron” hung out at the pool one morning, and Osprey was on the tree throughout the whole trip- bring your good camera! Pool had issues but a very nice gentleman showed up to test water and correct the issue, swept and on his way. This was a great find and well worth the valued. Memories for our family as our first home at the gulf will be unmatched.

By far my favorite rental. From the cleanliness, the decorum, the location, and the view. Great view of the sunset from the balcony or the end of the pier. The pool and small beach were perfect for my kids to play for hours while I sunned if we weren’t up for the crowded beach. The boat launch is barely a mile down the road so it was quick and easy for us the get our boat into the slip. The kitchen is well stocked with quality flatware, cookware, and dishes. The interior was decorated in a calming and simplistic fashion with many windows that allowed abundant natural light. Perfect stay for my family!

This was a perfect house for our annual beach vacation. The pool and the pier were a big hit with everyone. Everything was updated and nice. We enjoyed our stay!

The pictures do not do this place justice! I am writing this review wishing I were sitting on the amazing dock watching the mullet jump and the dolphins play. We are already planning a longer trip back this summer. Very clean, fully stocked, and perfect location!

We are in love!
We absolutely loved this property. It is located directly across from Phoenix VII, no back roads to deal with. It was immaculately clean. The kitchen was very well appointed with multiple place settings, including tons of kid friendly items. The large kitchen table easily sat 10 and made a great place for games at night.

This location is ideal for family gatherings and allows for privacy, peace and much to do onsite.. Perfect place for small families to gather for holidays..

Perfect house for our first time visiting Orange Beach with 7 adults, a 5 year old and 8 month old! The kitchen was well equipped with cooking supplies, and a nice charcoal Weber grill, for many of our meals. Close to public beaches, (we drove) restaurants and stores. The pool was a big hit as well as the covered decks and dock. It was nice having a washer and dryer with the little ones. Upon communicating with our hosts regarding baby items that the house may have, they sent a link of a local company that rents baby items at a fair price. We ended up not using them as we brought our own items. (Pack and play, portable high chair, baby bouncer and umbrella stroller). The house has stairs which was a concern with the little one but ended up not being a big deal as he was constantly watched while crawling on the floor but with an older child, a gate may be needed. There was a security gate on the above outside deck leading down to the pool. Perfect house! We will stay there again!

Great spot! Much better than a room in a massive condo. The downstairs area was An amazing spot to hang out. Was really nice to have our own pool as well! Dock was super clean. Each bed was comfortable with plenty of towels and extra blankets! I highly recommended this spot!!

Very nice place on the water with a place to dock your boat, great location. The 1st Bedroom is tiny and has no closet or dresser - tough for two adults for a week. Besides that, it's a lovely place and no other complaints.

We spent a week here for family vacation and it was perfect. Our families enjoyed fishing and dolphin watching from the dock. We spent hours in the pool and it’s an easy walk to the beach - what more could you ask for?!

This was our 4th stay in OB and our FAVORITE! We loved the privacy of the location but also the accessibility of everything we wanted to do ~ including kayaking/SUP from the beach area at the private dock, biking/walking trails, public beaches & food options. Loved everything about the house ~ inside and out. So relaxing sitting on the upper deck, lower porch, poolside and private dock. Loved being able to watch the dolphins put on a great show just yards away from the dock. We will definitely be back and will suggest this location to family and friends!

Adult(7) Family Get Together
The house was clean and well decorated. There was enough room for 7 adults, good location and pool(unheated). The best was the bayou dock with seabirds, a few dolphin and boat activity.
