The house was great, exactly as pictured in the photos. The community pool was well maintained and had shower and bathroom facilities which was great for our kids! We loved the quick access to the trail system from the community and there were several restaurant options at the entrance which were easily walkable from the house.

The home was gorgeous and in a wonderful location ! Quick drive to the beach! I do wish the house was better supplied- we had to buy trash bags, laundry detergent, paper towels and other basics due to the home only having 1-2 of each thing. Since we stayed a full week with two adults and three kids- it would have made sense to have more trash bags, laundry pods, dishwasher pods, and paper towels available to use. Additionally, there weren’t many beach toys/or items to use at the beach. We ended up buying/donating two boogie boards for people to use who stay at the home but the cooler available was very small and there weren’t many beach only a couple of small beach chairs. Overall the home was gorgeous, clean and in a good location. I think adding a few more basics for guests to use and some additional things to enjoy while at the beach would go a long way in making the stay incredible. Thank you!

House is beautiful and clean . We had 7 people in our group and had enough room for all. We did towel laundry daily which was fine. The beach wasn’t far and the community pool was 100 steps away . Beach items should be replaced as they were old and stuffed into a deck box. I would definitely recommend this house!

This place was only a 10 minute walk from the beach access. It is very close to a gas station and the strip that you can essentially walk to as well. The place was just as the pictures show. I would come back to this very place. The air conditioning worked great, and the place was clean.

Had a wonderful stay. Was a 5-10 min walk to the beach from your doorstep. Quiet neighborhood with cute houses. Felt very safe and was just minutes from restaurants and shopping. We struggled with the downstairs thermostat which wasn’t coming on. The air conditioner was working, we just couldn’t adjust the temp. We contacted the LCV team who was very responsive. We also saw 2 live cockroaches in the house, not a big deal but making the note so the team can know that it might be time to bring an exterminator out. And 2 of the 4 beach chairs and the umbrella on the listing were not at the unit. Again, none of those things hindered our stay or ability to enjoy our time. We loved our time at the house and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place in Orange Beach.

We had a great time at Starfish Cottage. Traveled with 3 teenagers and they loved being able to ride their bikes on the state park trails. The walk to the beach was easy. The unit was very clean and fully stocked. Check in was easy and we arrived 30 minutes early and were able to check in. The neighborhood is so quaint and quiet yet close to everything. We will definitely stay again when we are in Orange Beach!

My family of 4 stayed for a week. The house is more beautiful in person. We all slept comfortably in the bedrooms with plenty of space. The neighborhood is very nice and clean. The kitchen is nicely stocked with an everything you could need. They have beach chairs, a wagon, coolers, and sand toys that were nice to have at the beach. Overall a great place to stay. We will definitely stay again for future visits.

The house was clean. Kitchen was well stocked. Directions for cleaning the kitchen were very detailed and specific, but we could not find any of the cleaning supplies listed. I would have liked to have a few more rolls of toilet paper, another trash bag, and an extra package of dishwasher detergent. The ceiling fan is quite squeaky. Internet worked well. All of the rooms are quite spacious with stylish yet functional furniture. Procedures for departure were easy to follow and did not take long to complete. We have been visiting the area each Christmas as we have family with a house in Tannin.

My husband and a family friend stayed here, to be close to the bike and walking trails. It was perfect… House was beautiful and well equipped. Furniture was in great shape. Neighborhood is so nice, and they could ride ride into the park each day. Great location close to restaurants. We love this neighborhood. It close to the beach if you want that also… Great place….

This property was perfect for our two small families to stay within a short walking distance to the beach and only steps away from the pool! The accommodations were fantastic with all of the general cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc already there for ease of stay. We would definitely book this house again!

Starfish Cottage is a fantastic 3 bedroom, located next to the Gulf States Park (1 minute walk/bike ride to access) and Orange Beach (5 minute walk across the street to your own beach access). House is better equipped than most rentals, layout is great especially the kitchen. We loved staying there and will definitely try to book this house again in the future!

We enjoyed our stay at the starfish cottage. We visit this neighborhood often, so we know that we love the convenience of being so close to the beach. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. We found everything we needed to cook and clean. I enjoyed sitting on the porch, reading and hearing the ocean in the distance. My family's favorite activity, besides going to the beach, is the endless trails we can ride on our bikes in the Gulf State Park. Every morning we rode to The Southern Grind and Planet Smoothie!

If you like new then this is for you!!! Wow! What a beautiful 3 bedroom home close to the beach! Another great thing about this property is that it backs up to Gulf State Park and the miles and miles of bike trails. Our family loved being able to walk to the beach and bike on all of the wonderful trails. The home has a well-equipped kitchen that is modern and beautiful. And we couldn't get over how large each of the bedrooms were in this house. There is a community pool a short distance from the Starfish Cottage. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a home for 8 or less.

The house was literally perfect for our needs (two adults and three children ages 6-9). It was new, clean, well decorated, stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen, etc. We loved it.
