Beautiful place in a great location. Enjoyed my stay very much and would definitely recommend this place to everyone. Just a short walk from the beach and very peaceful. House looked identical to the pictures and exceeded my expectations. Great host as well!

We got to spend time at The Doc in February and it was amazing! There was warm and cool weather, but it didn't really matter because there was so much to do in proximity to the house. You can enjoy the dock on the lagoon or it's a short walk to the beach and to the many trails that my dog and I enjoyed in the neighborhood. The house is open, light and spacious and beautifully decorated. The view of the lagoon from the large living area or the covered deck was beautiful and relaxing...magnificient sunsets! The kitchen was well stocked and the house very clean and well maintained. The Doc sits at the end of a cul de sac in a very quiet neighborhood and is a peaceful setting, while still being only minutes away from the beach, restaurants and things to do! We will definitely be back!

This house was absolutely beautiful and in a great location, very clean and all furniture and finishing are up to date . Kitchen was fully stocked , everything you needed to cook with they have ! Loved the outside sitting areas so relaxing! Definitely will stay again !

Thoroughly enjoyed our off-season stay. Didn't quite plan for 6-8” of snow, but certainly stayed very comfortable. Home is well-equipped. Great views. Easy access to the beach and boardwalk along the lagoon.

Don't usually leave reviews bc pet friendly vrbos suck...this property met all my expectations and more.. from the furniture thats was t bought at a flea market and a beautiful yard for our dog that was mowed and does not have sand spurs everywhere.. wonderful kitchen to cook in as well.. fishing off the pier was great

Our stay was wonderful, the house location was easy access to all the places we went and tucked away so it was very quiet and peaceful. The fishing off the dock was amazing and everyone was catching a verity of fish. The house overall was very nice and decor and colors were perfect. Looking forward to renting this location again. The only thing I could request would be a later check out however this rental should be in high demand. Thanks for a wonderful stay and we will be back

This was our second stay at The Doc. It's a great house in a great location. Last time we had some ants in the kitchen. NO ants this time. Home is very clean and well decorated. Also, the new bedding is a great improvement over what was there last year. I highly recommend this property.

This was a beautifully done home. The baths and kitchen were gorgeous. Management was easy to work with. View was excellent.neighborrhood was safe , quiet and nice. I will say there are no spices, salt, pepper so bring your own. Also one small rotten area on deck could injure someone. Will return for sure

We really enjoyed this clean, modern, beautifully decorated and well-equipped house. It was like a lake house and a beach house in one! We loved watching the herons, pelicans, and bluebirds from the back deck. My kids had a blast finding crabs in the lagoon. We enjoyed Ripstiking and roller blading from the house to the bike path, and we saw an alligator on our "Alligator Island Pier" walk. Our dog enjoyed the nice big yard. We ate at the Beach House Kitchen with our dog one night and walked home and really enjoyed the burgers.We would definitely come back. It was the perfect house to spread out and enjoy a restful Spring Break. It's usually hard to find such nice dog-friendly rentals!

The DOC is the perfect relaxing get-a-way! We took our first family spring break vacation to Gulf Shores. The Doc is an amazing house that makes you feel right at home. Gorgeous views of the lagoon and a short walk to the ocean. Plenty of space for everyone in the family to be comfortable. I highly recommend this place!

Our family had a wonderful time staying at the Doc for New Years! The entire house was super spacious and had everything we needed. I particularly loved sitting on the deck looking out at the lagoon. So much natural light and views of the lagoon from the kitchen, dining room, and living room! The Kitchen had a very large walk in pantry and a lot of cabinet space for storage. We will be back!

What a beautiful home. The second you walk in you just know "this is going to be good". Everything was clean, comfy, and accommodating. The house makes the perfect spot to just stay indoors..BUT the views outside are hard to pass up. There is a great covered area on the back deck to sit outside to either eat or just sit and look over the water. I highly recommend drinking your morning coffee down on the dock..or take in the evening sunset. The water by the dock is 100% swimmable, and its great for children because the water is calm and not super deep. The beach is an easy 5 minute walk away....clean, has that perfect sand, and plenty of shells to look thru. Between the house and all the views, my first Gulf Shores experience was pretty amazing. Whether you bring your family or your friends...it is a great house to make memories and have a wonderful time. Take me back!

I had the privilege of spending 4 wonderful days at The Doc. After a year of hits in life, this place was just what I needed to reconnect with myself & those I was with. The fresh air was so good for my soul. Early morning beach walks, coffee on the dock, playing games with friends, exploring the cute town, sleeping in a comfy bed, snuggling on the cozy sectional watching a show, making yummy dinners and drinks in the huge kitchen, all made for the perfect vacation! I highly recommend this house anyone looking to feel right at home while on vacation.

We cannot say enough good things about our experience at The Doc! This property is BEAUTIFUL, and truly captures the best of both worlds—the peaceful waters of the Little Lagoon in the back yard, and the beachfront Gulf only 1 block in the opposite direction! The owner has paid careful attention to every detail—a well-stocked kitchen, very comfortable mattresses, games and puzzles for the family, outdoor beach chairs, TV's in every room, and more. We will definitely be coming back!

We have stayed at a lot of houses over the years in Gulf Shores and this is one of the best! Beautiful home right on Little Lagoon with a pier and dock to enjoy peaceful times and beautiful sunsets! And, when you want your beach time, it's an easy couple of blocks walk to the beach access! The house is beautiful, well maintained and well stocked...especially, the kitchen. We found it cute and clean upon arrival. The location also is great! Not only Little Lagoon and Beach access, it is near restaurants, grocery stores, etc. We highly recommend this home and will be booking it again!

Modern Beautiful home! So much light with all the windows! The cook's kitchen with updated appliances, large family room with giant sectional, spacious main bedroom, and roomy, updated bathrooms made the time inside so enjoyable. We spent many hours on the oversized deck overlooking the lagoon. Comfortable padded furniture on the upper deck and the elevated deck chairs on the patio below the house made us want to spend as much time as possible out there.

In general, this house is a solid 5. Beautiful finishes, great location, and overall clean. A couple of small issues: ants in the kitchen, quilt on stand-alone full bed in guest bedroom needs good washing for stains (or needs replacement), small nightstand and lamp in that same bedroom would be wonderful. Otherwise, we had a great time here and will likely book this property again in the future.
