Sol Searching at Lost Key Villas

Beautiful place, comfy bed! Clean! Would bring a bicycle next time. Loved it!

Fantastic accommodations!
My family and I stayed at Sol Searching during a Fall Break vacation last week. The condo itself was well appointed, and very clean. I would say that it completely exceeded my expectations the moment I walked in. The kitchen had everything we needed and more, the appliances are all GE Profile and in good working order. It's obvious that this unit is new because it doesn't have normal "lived in" wear and tear. We've been looking to get away from the crowds and cost that come with the 30A area, so this was our first time in the Perdido Key area. We were very impressed by the quiet charm of the area, despite the high rises next to the beach. The shuttle is a bit tricky, so we walked to and from the beach several times. No problem for us or our three year old. We will absolutely return to this area, and would love to stay at Sol Searching again!

Loved this unit!
The unit we stayed in more than met our expectations, and I would stay again. This unit was beautiful, clean, and well decorated. Checking in and out was fully automated and painless. We have been to Perdido Key and gulf shores several times so we waited at the public beach access across the street until just before check-in time so we could beat the check-in traffic (everywhere in this area checks in at 4pm so it is busy at that time).The primary pool was closed which was a bummer. We only had access to a small pool at the beach club for most of our stay. I feel like Luxury Coastal should have at least communicated the pool was closed, and possibly offered access to another property they manage to swim. Finding out it was closed by walking to it with kids excited to swim was an unwanted experience while on vacation.The shuttle only runs from 11am-7pm, and there isn’t enough drivers to meet the need (they’re hiring). I was only able to use the shuttle once for the entire week’s stay. We just walked to the beach for the most part. If I stay again I will strongly consider renting a golf cart for the duration of the stay.No coolers are allowed at the beach club or the beach at Lost Key and they don’t serve you at the beach (it’s about a 100yard walk to the beach club from the ocean). This seems like a missed opportunity. I would pay Lost Key to stock a cooler and deliver it to me on the beach, or buy drinks from a “beer girl” on a golf cart if they offered it.Again the unit we stayed in was great, and it was easy to check in and out. Plenty of blankets, comfortable beds, large TV’s, extra towels, good water pressure and hot water for the showers. It had extra beach chairs, lots of cups, plates, silverware. I would stay again, but would rent a golf cart.

This condo is very beautiful. There is a lot of stairs but the layout is perfect. Would definitely recommend

Stunning Townhome!
This beautiful townhouse was even better than the photos. It was extremely clean and comfortable. The unit had everything we needed for the perfect beach stay. My favorite place was the couch on the covered deck! The walk to the beach was doable at about a half a mile. The complimentary beach chair set up was a bonus! There are also partial views of the ocean from two of the bedrooms. You will not be disappointed in Sol Searching. My only suggestion would be to add bicycles for guests to use since the resort is so big, but other than that, it’s a beautiful place!
